Ricky Eugene Mills

Ricky Eugene Mills, 72 years old born in Mobile, AL on March 18, 1953, passed away after a lengthy illness on February 12, 2026,  surrounded by his family. He resided in Montgomery area for the last 37 years. Ricky leaves behind Carol Baker Mills his devoted loving wife of thirty-five years to cherish his memory. Ricky loved his family with a passion and was blessed to have four children, Susan Mills Brazell (Paul), Ricky Lynn Mills (June), Travis Glenn Jordan (Christle) and Ryan Garrett Jordan (Jenny). He was a proud Pawpaw with ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Leon Mills, and Betty Ann Mills, sister Deborah Ann Foster (Robert) and brother James Leslie Mills.

Ricky was a long time (1990) member of Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, Al. He was blessed to be a part of Eastmont’s Millennium Class. His lifelong work was in the construction industry. He was most proud of his work for Pierce Construction as he supervised the 1988 renovation of the Al State Capital. He later worked with Price Ceiling and Drywall, working primarily in hospitals, schools and corporate businesses with new construction and renovations. He retired after twenty-five years with Price Ceiling to begin a long Honey-Do list.

Our family would like to thank Baptist Hospital South, Baptist Hospice Group with Hospice Nurse Holly Long, Aide Dejah and our dear home Caregiver Valeria Smith as they cared for our loved one.

Celebration of Life private family service will be at Eastmont Baptist Church on Saturday, February 14. Please remember our family in prayer as we mourn the loss of our loved one.
